Health Anxiety: Do anybody experience chest... - Anxiety Support
Health Anxiety
That can be very true Bigshawn24 in that when one experiences a severe panicattack, the effects of it can last a long time if you don't release that stress.
Once we experience a panic attack, it can sometimes leave us in a state of
"fight or flight" long term because of Anticipational Anxiety that takes it's place.
Having Health anxiety just perpetuates the thought of the experience leaving you
to be tense and tight each day.
Working with a therapist can help put you back on the right path. Addressing the
issue that you think may have caused that attack can be beneficial as well.
If you could start using some Relaxation Meditation daily, you may see a change
in those tight muscles along the neck, upper back and chest. I wish you well xx
You’re not alone, I deal with this on a daily basis and in fact I just talked to my doctor today. He said he would refer me to a pulmonologist but I’ve basically developed agoraphobia so driving to the appt is extremely difficult. Things I do to help myself at home: Nature Made Stress Relief gummies, Anxiety Relief essential oil, Calmigo to regulate my breathing, laying down and listening to comforting music, putting an ice pack on myself. Hope this helps!
Yes I can relate to this
Try rubbing vicks vapor rub on your chest after a nice warm bath, lay down and relax.
