Throat pain

Hi has anyone had pain right side of throat like a needle pain when u swallow not eat though. Been to 4 differnt drs they said all feels fine and now been referred for a scan I’m soooo scared been 6 weeks . It feels like a bruise aswel but the needle shooting pain will come only one side not thyroid they did my bloods also was all fine

shamila, it sounds like the doctors are being very thorough in giving you areason for this feeling/sensation under the chin.

I use to get that myself. That sharp pinchy needle sensation would grab me

while I was driving and then go away. I concluded that when I'm driving, I must

be holding my mouth/tongue/jaw in a strained position which allows that muscle

pain to exacerbate. Since using my breathing technique while driving, I no longer

feel it.

Hi

I had a ultrasound on neck and the sonographer said he could not see anything , he said if I had a neck like yours I would be pretty happy

The pain has reduced a lot it just sometimes how I explain on the right side grabs me when I gulp water or sometimes swallow

The dr said she think it may also be inflammation of the mucosa and acid reflux

And to have gaviscon and other acid remedies
