Hi, I don't feel anxious anymore in social situations. I like being around people and going out. But the only problem I have is I struggle to make conversations with people. Its like my brain shuts down and I go silent. Any advice please?

I think people like to talk about themselves, ask open ended questions. A good listener is the best, people probably won't notice and enjoy being heard.
What meds are you on? Does this happen a lot?
I get like that too or I go to the other extreme and just babble about stupid things. One thing I find helps me is to take a calming breath when I start to panic that I am going to freeze up or my brain is shutting down. I also find that when in a group it is better to concentrate on one conversation especially when there are several conversations going on at a time and not to worry about home much you are talking but to join in with a comment or a question when you feel you can.
