Help with lexapro
I took Lexapro for only a few months. I don't remember having side effects like yours, but I have had shaking like that before, and I was told to drink Pedialyte or a sports drink because I was likely deficient in electrolytes. It did work for me, at the time, after drinking Pedialyte throughout the day for at least a couple of days.
One thing I just learned is that anxiety can be caused by being deficient in magnesium, calcium or potassium. A deficiency in any of those minerals can cause shaking. A deficiency in magnesium can cause an imbalance of calcium or potassium.
Talk to you doctor about this. They may order a blood test, or they may simply say to try a sports drink (like Gatorade, which supplements potassium and sodium, another essential mineral).
