Me again 😊 just woken up with the worst panic ever. My heart was pounding and I was finding it difficult to breathe. Felt like waves of adrenaline were coursing through my body and my head felt like I was going to pass out., making thinking almost impossible.
Anyone else suffer with that adrenaline sensation and feeling of not being able to think or move their head? Utterly terrifying ðŸ˜

Don’t have any close friends, and no one really knows what’s going on. My husband is here but he doesn’t know how to help, I can’t calm the panic so he doesn’t have a chance.
Do you suffer from sleep apnea where you quit breathing while asleep? It deprives oxygen from the brain. My Godson had it so bad that he had to crawl to the door of the bedroom. Get a sleep study done and find out. You might need a CPap in order to sleep. cpap.com/
No. I don’t. I woke up with cramp in my hand, and I’d only just fallen asleep. I do ‘forget’ to breathe as I’m falling asleep and get hypnic m jerks, but is it anxiety or something else?
Cramp in your hand tells me you need minerals. You could be lacking in magnesium, calcium or potassium. All three are good for the heart too. Ask your doc for a blood test to check your minerals/electrolytes. And for the record, most people get jerks when falling asleep.
Oh my I could have written this! I wake like this everyday. Pounding heart and butterflies as soon as I open my eyes. Then the other symptoms begin. It’s awful and I really sympathise with you. Here if you ever need a chat x
I hope you’re feeling ok today. It’s so awful. I feel like my brain is going to explode and give up on me. The dizziness and fatigue are the worst. I hate the symptoms. Can this really all be anxiety? If you want to chat, I’m here 🔥
