An enlarged heart probably would cause no symptoms at first, ALWAYS consult a Dr. not the internet.

An X Ray and echocardiogram or CT angiogram would diagnose an enlarged heart.

Pain under a rib is more likely related to a RIB problem such as inflamed or bruised rib, look up costochondritis, I had this in the 90s and the pain can be severe.

Thanks. I had an ecg it was perfect other than one premature ectopic beat which has shook me right up. Everything else was absolutely perfect.
