I have read a lot recently about how gut health can have quite an impact on mental health issues. It does appear there is a link for me, I frequently suffer with heartburn & acid reflux so have recently been experimenting with my diet to try improve these symptoms.
Another thing I have tried is intermittent fasting, 16-17hrs fast and a 6-7 hrs eating window late afternoon into evenin. I have to admit this alone has improved stomach issues and as a result I do feel calmer and less stressed. It may not be the answer completely to anxiety or other mental health issues however it could help play a key role. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced or tried anything similar?

I think you could be right. Lately I'm eating too much of the wrong things, my reflux is a bit worse, and my moods are'nt good. Diet definitely does affect everything. I get mad at myself cos I know what and how much suits me, yet if he mood takes me I will eat too often and too much of the wrong thing.
I need discipline. I'm extra short on that at present
