I don’t know if this is anxiety but I keep thinking it’s heart related because it’s my left arm, so basically my left is like numb, I can lift it do everything I’m meant to do but like I but it, to see how numb it is and I don’t really feel pain, hardly and I don’t the same on the right and it hurt straight away, the left arm and hand feel really soft, compared to the right which feels normal, it’s been like this for about 3 months

Left arm numbness
Get evaluated. See your primary care. It could be a number of things like Carpal Tunnel, or some other nerve compression issue like thoracic outlet syndrome.
anxietycentre.comYou may know this site. Anxiety can give you physical symptoms anything you can think of. Numb arm is one of them. First rule out physical cause, then accept it as an evil symptom of anxiety. All the best!
Maybe a trapped nerve in your neck or shoulder ...is there a lump of hardness anywhere from your neck down under your shoulder blades?
No nothing been like this for 5 months
Jesus all floppy and numb for five months. Are you sure you're anxious enough? I'd have been down the doctor by now.
Its sounds more like nerve than heart. A nerve stimuaktes muscles to contract si the fact your muscles are all floppy sya to me that a nerve signal isn't getting through. Maybe your body has locked off one area of you body to let it relax for a while. If it was your heart you'd not have five months to ponder it before it damaged you. A clot or something would be painful. An artery you'd have other symptoms by now. So either your brain has blocked nerve signals or your nerves are blocked by something physical. I can't see how your heart would make your arm floppy but I'm not a doctor and if you do think it feels like your heart then a doctor would be the person to see about that. If its a nerve brain thing acupuncture is supposed to be good and if its a muscle thing a physiotherapist would be ideal.
It’s not floppy I can move it just way less sensitive that my right arm and hand
You said it feels softer than yoir other arm.
Yes softer I can still move it
How is your radial pulse on the arm? Are you getting less than 3 seconds on your capillary refill on your nails on that hand? (This checks for perfusion) I recommend always reporting decreased sensation to your provider as soon as you can. It doesn’t sounds too serious if there isn’t necrosis going on.
What does that mean and how do I do that
I've had a similar problem for about a month now but it's in my left hand not my arm. Have you found out what's wrong? Today mine seems worse, I seem to be losing the use of my little finger and my ring finger on my left hand and it's creating too much anxiety for me. I also have panic attacks and I don't want to get so upset over my hand being numb that I have a panic attack over it.
