Hi Jessica, always follow your doctor's advice. It's not a matter of which
medication is best but which one will work for you. (without side effects) We all react differently
so there really is no right or wrong. Your doctor knows your health history
and has your best interest at heart. Good Luck.. xx
I have been getting itchy skin and it’s causing distress so bad and anxiety so bad as I itch so much on esctalapram I have tried to call the doctor to get advice but No one can call back till weds so I have a bit of time to wait I can’t be bothered to wait to find my answer
I switched to sertraline after side effects from escitalopram and have been doing okay. I like what Agora1 says about finding what works best for the individual.
I'm not sure how quickly you will notice the symptoms improve and you might experience new or different symptoms on other meds. I hope you can get relief!
Hi Jessica
I have been on Sertraline for over 18months now and I feel great they take a while to start working but it’s worth it if you get the dose right am on 100mg
Hope this helps
Still on esctalopram the doctor is reluctant to move me when I ask I feel cross as want to move and he is so reluctant
