Because it seems like, the hotter the weather, the more my anxiety increases and becomes difficult to deal with. In fact, it was pretty bad last night. So does a heatwave increase anxiety? Thanks

Hello, yes heat, humidity, hot weather can trigger your anxiety. Symptoms from headaches, dizzy, tired, nausea, shortness of breath, panic & anxiety attacks. Its your body reacting to outside environments. The CNS central nervous system is compromised (highly overactive) and can be constantly stuck from constant exposure to stress, highly emotionally situations and thoughts.

I’m so pleased I’m back on this app after being away for awhile. As you know the heat has been really bad this week and my anxiety levels have been so high. I was wondering if it was the heat causing it and read this I have felt unwell still do hope you’re all ok

Hi glad you’re back as I say if I’m doubt check with a gp but the heat I think does affect anxiety levels and also when the weather is very cold if anyone can avoid going out in extreme heat stay indoors use a fan take care everyone
