I have Social Anxiety Disorder and a history of depression (I am on meds). I’m really struggling with finding a job I like. I mostly apply to retail/waiting on as I have experience but no qualifications. I cannot cope with the school/college environment. I feel like a complete failure. What do I do?

I’m struggling with work/jobs.
I feel the same way. I went to college but didn’t finish. I’ve also worked many challenging full-time jobs but never stuck with any of them because of my anxiety. I’ve been applying to part-time remote jobs and trying to get social security disability for anxiety/panic disorder. Maybe you could do the same?
Hi , you’re definitely not a failure it’s really tough now with all this covid and unemployment going on , I’d say it’s completely normal to be worried. The only thing I can suggest is enjoy what you can and focus on that , I enjoy the beach and bush and taking the dogs out, you just have to find what works for you. All the best.
You are not a complete failure. There are lots of people who have various anxieties. Have you talked with a Pastor or counselor to help you reduce your anxiety? Praying and music therapy help people deal with anxiety. Also, there are good jobs where you don't have to deal with people much. Landscaper, computer work, accounting. Just to name a few areas. Prayers that you find the right niche for you!
