So I’m at a family party and first comes heartburn come and goes dead fast, I was thinking a little scared if I have pains then 30mins later I get pains in arm and chest and a fast heart rate a little bit but I was completely normal, thing is when I have pains I’m nearly never anxious and when I am anxious like I go for bloods or the hospital the only symptom is fast heart rate

Hi anxietymadman, I'm assuming if was a bit of an anxiety attack all due to the

thoughts that came into your mind when you felt that heartburn come. Your

breathing changes, your stance because stiff and rigid and the adrenaline comes

pouring out. Try calming down by finding a quiet place for a few minutes.

Breathe slowly in and exhale long and slow expelling all that fear and "what ifs".

I know they are there whether you feel anxious or not. Your mind lied to you and

your body took over with symptoms. You are okay...your heart rate will slow

down when you settle down.

Let us know how you are feeling in a while. I don't think this calls for a trip

to the hospital. :) xx

It’s strange really, I’ve had it for a month now the chest pains come randomly, as do the arm pains, I could be walking, sitting down doing anything I do feel sometimes when I don’t think or busy it can help a lot but not ever always gone

If you have had this for over a month, then this issue does need to be addressed by

your doctor. Whether it be physical or emotional, until you get some reassurance

from a professional, you will continue to worry about the distress you feel. I care :) xx

I mentioned it to them and they said it does not sound heart related because in the month of this happening it hasn’t got worse or nothing has physically happened to me, and the pains are so random it’s so weird

Short answer: YES.

Frequently a lot of people have a hard time knowing they have anxiety, they think they have excess stress or they are sick as hell. So don't worry abut your symptoms, just address them with a doctor or if you already have multiple doctors opinion, try meditation (mindfullness) and reading some books about dealing with anxiety. Best wishes and don't give up, it will pass.
