Venlafaxine ER 75mg/Generic for Effexor 37.5 mg

Any advice pls. I being on Effexor XR for about 5 months now after doing an genesight test. I switch from taking it at nite to morning cause I was waking up shaking now I take it in the morning but I still feel anxious, heart flutters or skipping heart beats which is very uncomfortable, body aches, scared.One of the member here told me that maybe I should go up on my dose. I asked the dr and she gave 75mg but now iam scare of taking it after reading so many bad reviews and the one that scared me the most is my blood pressure going up or heart rate. What should I do? Pls help.

I'm on Effexor. I was being treated for high bp when I started it. I kept close monitor of my blood pressure. It did rise and I had to increase my bp med. Bp has been stable since then.

It's a matter of monitoring and reporting any changes.

Thank you for replying.I don’t take blood pressure meds and that’s why iam afraid of taking a higher dose of venlafaxine.Thanks again.

Just monitor it. I know it's a possibility. It could have happened with me because I already have blood pressure issues.

It doesn't happen to everyone.
