Agoraphobic and leaving the house

I’m home bound agoraphobic, I haven’t left my house in over a year and I have a dentist appointment in a half hour.. I’m kind of freaking out really bad, I’m agoraphobic but also have a bad fear of the dentist too, It’s only a two minute drive but it’s freaking me out that I have to be in there and stuff and will feel stuck

Talk to the dentist before starting a procedure. There are things the dentist can do to make the experience easier for you.

I don't want to encourage meds onto you but don't you have a 5 mg of oxazepam for these kind of situations? To take the edges off? I do that when visiting the dentist. And I'm kinda anti meds but once in a while I take them when I have to. It helps a lot. Maybe tell your dentist how you feel about going there and ask him to reassure you. Take care. You can do it!!!!
