Hi hope everyone feeling calm.Was on 30mg Mirtazipine which was not for me

after 6 months changed to amitriptylene 75 mg slight improvement then told to try 50 mg sertraline along with amitryptylene which has been a big improvement.Just wondering has anyone else on the forum been prescribed this combination.

I have not tried this combination myself. What you are describing is augmentation where the prescribed adds one medication to another to take advantage of the benefits of both. Prescribing this way is becoming more common. Very happy to learn you might have found something that works for you

I’m on 30 mg of mirtazapine & have been for about 6months, but having a really bad time over the weekend.....back to square 1 & I’m waiting on the gp calling me.....don’t know if it’s just a wee glitch or if meds not working now
