Okay so I’ve obviously been obsessing over two things lately and they have made my anxiety spiral out of control.. One, being my heart because I get heart pains and it freaks me out daily. Second, being my leg cramp- my mind goes to DVT and I think I’m gonna drop dead any second of everyday. I don’t wanna go to the ER and I’ve been fighting myself for days about it.. the only way I’m gonna get past this is if I can get some reassurance. Can I make an appointment and ask for an EKG and d-dimer test to put my worries to rest? Is that a thing? I had the exact same calf cramp and thigh cramp last year and I went and got testing done and it was negative for a clot but I can’t rest- I NEED to know it’s nothing.

Should I or should I not
Here if you need to chat understand your way of thinking as I’m the same I honestly think I have serious illness where I’m going to die sounds silly just every ache and pain...xx keep your chin up keep your mind busy exercise it out
It’s hard to keep busy when your mind convinces you that you’re gonna die. An example/s in my head I have daily, “when you drive the clot will dislodge and it will all be over.” Panic time. “Get out of bed and the clot will dislodge.” Panic time. Oh and constantly checking my legs to see if one is warmer, swollen, or red. It’s so exhausting.
Ty. 🙂
I understand what your going through it’s horrible try and write things down positive things telling you there’s nothing wrong and maybe go to the doctor so they can reassure you too and that will pop your mind at ease... aniexty is really hard! But we can beat it! Have you any medication for your aniexty to help you though the rough times XX
If you had heart problems you would have a number of symptoms such as severe pain in your left arm, very severe indigestion, or if a stroke your face would drop on one side and you would find talking difficult, slur your words, and feel very confused and disorientated.
If you had a dvt in your calf it would be very painful and swollen. I presume you have none of these symptoms? If not then it is just your health anxiety playing up.
There lots of good videos on YouTube to help with your anxiety so I recommend you have a look at these.
