I’m sorry you are feeling like this. I am 70 years old and never suffered with anxiety and panic attacks in my life before covid-19 and lockdown started. I have a terrible pressure at the back of my head and panic attacks nearly every day. There just come out of the blue starting with a tingly feeling in my shoulders and then creeping all over my body. There are awful but have learnt some breathing exercises and they do help. Doc had put be on 20mg citalopram but I am only taking 10 mg as I am to frightened to increase the dose . I am constantly swallowing prescribed paracetamols and codeine tablets for my head and suffering with indigestion as well. I am waiting on a call from my docs this morning as I can’t carry on like this. Ring your doc if I was you. I have been like this since 29th March.
I have told my story many times so others can learn how I recovered ,...... Many years ago I had anxiety with every symptom that came with it. I would go sit in the hospital waiting rooms to get some sleep !! Medications scared me so I got worse.
By the grace of God I read about a book on anxiety & had to order it from the U.K.
At Last a Life by Paul David. He suffered for years before finding recovery .
He breaks down anxiety & every one of its ugly symptoms. You realize your normal with easily explained symptoms that are nothing to be afraid of.
Anxiety causes shaking hands, pain or tightness in the chest, dry mouth, foggy brain, etc
The author explains why there is nothing to fear & thousands have gone or going thru the same things as you. Again, once you start reading & discover there is nothing to fear , your anxiety & its symptoms start to disappear .
