I haven’t really suffered with anxiety much until now, I believe my anxiety is triggered by feeling a bit unwell, last night (and a few nights a couple of weeks ago when I was taking Steroids for a condition ) I woke up shaking had a dry mouth, had a nervous stomach, had a tight face and bloating etc. I believe this was an anxiety attack. I’ve still got and anxious stomach and generally feel unwell and a bit weak, how long do these feelings generally last, as I said I am completely new to this and it’s rather scary

It does sound like health anxiety which is completely understandable at the moment. Try not to dwell on it by distracting yourself. Stick to plain eating until your stomach feels better and avoid alcohol
I know how you feel because I’ve dealt with anxiety for about a year now and I would always get sick as well. My best advice would be to do things that will make you feel good. Take a nice hot shower, draw, paint, watch a nice show, anything that will help you ease your mind. Hope I helped
I have had anxiety for may years. If yours is anxiety sometimes it's good to think of a peaceful place like the ocean or some place you have been,or actually someone you have been with that makes you feel calm. Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out your mouth. The most important part is to try to stay calm. I know it's very hard trust me. I hope you get well soon and your anxiety goes away.
