Hello. I’m new to this. But I’ve had an encounter today with my boss where in my mind I was sharing good news but her reaction wasn’t the best. Made me feel like it wasn’t good enough. And i can’t let it go

Hello :-)

We can be very sensitive people and there is nothing wrong with that except we soon get hurt and struggle to let things go when we do :-(

These are not good times for anyone and just maybe she has a lot on her mind , maybe this virus is worrying her and if circumstances were different her reaction to your work would have been more enthusiastic :-)

We never know what is going on in other people life's either , to cause their reaction to not be what we expected

When we don't let go the only person we are hurting is ourselves , others that hurt our feelings will be totally unaware and not feel a thing

You have to tell yourself you did a good job and be proud of yourself knowing that and to stop the pain just think of all the reasons why you may not have got the reaction you expected and try not to take it personally :-)

Take Care x
