Hope you can help me
Hi!
This sounds really awful and frightening. However, it also sounds very similar to a panic attack. As terrifying as they feel, you are in no real danger - the feeling that you are going to die is only a feeling.
If you haven’t before, I suggest doing a little research on panic attacks/ways to help and perhaps speaking to doctor.
Yeah scarey I have panic attacks but like the after feeling last even days with me is this possible
I can’t comment on the medical side of it, I’m no doctor, but in my personal experience, yes.
I’ve been through periods of extreme anxiety where I have been in a CONSTANT state of high anxiety for weeks on end. Not a panic attack but very similar feelings/thoughts.
Hi....yes I feel like that regularly.....it feels debilitating sometimes. It's terrifying feeling like your about to die. I don't know what the solution is but know you aren't alone X
Just a thought. Have you had your thyroid tested? It may be something to consider ( I had those symptoms and it turned out to be that). I wish you the very best and it seems that you are not alone with a lot of lovely people on here to help. X
Sort of nightmares ( never had those before) fast heart, general feeling of fear and anxiety. It is sorted now. But of course I'm just talking about me. If you are naturally anxious it seems your symptoms are panic attacks ( my daughter's father in law has it and takes medication. There is no physical reason for the panic attacks) x
I won’t take tablets because way I feel now I wouldn’t want side effects x
Fair enough I don't know much about panic attacks - I'm usually on the AFib forum. But it seems that many people here are just as nice and helpful. My daughter's father in law is very quiet and almost laid back and I was most surprised when he told me he suffered panic attacks. I think the medication he takes is a sort of "pill in the pocket". Just takes it when he needs it. I hope you find a solution! X
