Sertraline after 2 weeks

Hi all

I posted before about starting sertraline - I was asked if I’d put an update on by a few people so here it is.

I feel good, the darkness I used to feel every morning is slowly decreasing, Im starting to handle things better in the sense that if something small were to happen I would completely over react. I was arguing with my boyfriend a lot. That is slowly stopping! I do feel tired and I do feel a bit run down this week but apart from that I haven’t had any side effects at all. My doctor seems happy with my progress and wants to see me again in 2 weeks for another follow up. I have been signed off work again for 2 weeks as I can’t face going back there, I would appreciate any advice with this as I have a 30 day notice period but I haven’t signed a contract as the place is extremely unorganised and unprofessional. For my own sanity and health I think going back to work this notice would just take me back to how I was feeling before which I obviously do not want to happen. I do have a new job lined up with someone that I know so I will be accepting this. It will be more enjoyable and no pressure and I already know the manager and he’s a great guy. So for my mental health I am super excited. But worried at the same time about how to leave my other job

Thanks everyone hope everyone’s doing well and this post has maybe inspired someone to take the jump into taking medication. For me it works!

So glad you are feeling better that's great news:)

As far as the job goes, good for you that you realize the stress is no good. You are doing a great thing for yourself.

Can you resign for health reasons? You don't have to be any more specific than that.

Not what you're looking for?
