I hope everyone had a safe & fun holiday/NYE . I had an excellent outing myself and got back in safe. I wanted to know/ was curious about people’s resolutions if any, regarding the mental health..?
For me, I want to tackle health anxiety on its a** and conquer it. So far, doing slightly good b/c I opened up to my partner about that and he now knows my verbal and non-verbal cues ,regarding it ,and he’s more present and helpful. I need and deserve that. I’m currently anxious over something like my neck cracking . Did something so simple as turn to my partner , while cuddling and ...crack ! ( it was THE tiniest crack.) ..
I’ve chalked it up to me getting older but anxiety has a way of making you believe delusions ...I went on google ..and now my partner is getting me a ramen bowl to feel better.
Crazy how this resolution of conquering health anxiety is a thing for me , but here on this holiday , I’ve been letting it win. I won’t give in , not anymore. I refuse. I’m taking this as a lesson.
But to continue my resolution list:
I also want to continue therapy again and be more consistent, that was definitely helping me out so much, as far as pinning the root of all anxiety with me and conquering it.
I want to travel and will/planning on doing so ..
Also , I want to quit relying on grinding my teeth as a safety blanket of any kind.
How about everyone else?
