Excellent article, thanks! We should all write down every worry we have and then keep track of how many of those worries actually came true.

Great article thank you. I have recently been diagnosed with GAD. Hit me like a truck at first; back at work after less than a week but with almost daily anxiety at different levels; the uneasy worrying feeling in my stomach probably the worst part that have seen a lot of people mention on here and the fear of not knowing if will sleep well. Words of encouragement and support from health professionals have been invaluable but relief seems to be temporary (recently had 2 weeks totally back to normal) then one bad outcome / meeting / experience can set the anxiety off again. Anyway, wishing everyone here good health and luck in recovery. For those with similar symptoms I have found a low dose of beta blocker gave me confidence around bedtime and have had mild / low dosage sleeping pills (zopiclone) at points too.
