Okay, so recently one of the biggest things bugging me is that I have ovarian cancer, I’m 19. I’ve had the same sexual partner for the last 8 months, and it started with the one before this one. But I bleed almost everytime we have sex. Unless we use lube, which we did tonight and I still bled in a certain position. It hurt in my left ovary is what I’d assume afterwards when I peed too. I’ve always had irregular periods, spotted in between periods, and pregnancy is off the table. I’ve taken tests. And it’s been going on for about a year. I’m just worried that maybe I have something that’s went untreated. I am so scared to go to the GYNO I’ve never even been. But I’m terrified. Please help

You need to see GYN

That's where you will get the answers

Hi bleeding after sex is cause to see your doctor. It is probably nothing serious but it does need checking. It is very unlikely to be ovarian cancer but it does need to be ruled out.

Don't forget most cancers can be successfully treated these days so the sooner you go the better x

Hi, I suffer with anxiety and health anxiety as well. I’m 19 years old too. I’m sorry to hear that you’re not having a good time right now. I would definitely suggest going to the GYNO. Take it from someone who hasn’t ever been and would love to go. I can’t go because I don’t have any health insurance. I would love to go just to make sure everything is fine. I have irregular periods and well and have for YEARS. Stress, anxiety, weight, diet, and ph balance plays a huge part in periods. I hope you’ll go and everything will go well 💞

I was worried about ovarian cancer for awhile as well. Very unlikely at your age (could be something as simple as a cyst which is common), but at your age you should definitely go to the OB. You will also feel better when you know you are fine.
