Hi...Could use some one on one.

You OK Girl ?* Shoot !
Oh just having a bit of anxiety i suppose. I had an attack of racing heart a few nights ago..first in a long time. At 4 am. Now afraid to sleep and wake up like that again.
Boy I Know That Feeling All Too Well.... I Made A Decision That I Was NOT Gonna Deny My Body Sleep Outa Fear. So I Made Darn Sure I Went To Bed No Matter What. To This Day I Still Do...Most Of The Time I'm Fine & I "Know" I Can't Miss That "Most Of The Time.
There is something to be said for a good nights sleep!!!
How do YOU deal with that when it happens?
Most Of The Time I Gotta Get Up & Calm Down & Wait Til I'm Tiered Again. Then ? Bad Dreams or/ Not. My Eyes Need That Rest & I Hit It Again. It Sux When You Have An Adrenalin RUSH Wile Your Sleeping. But "I Know" Sleep Is A Must.
What do you think causes that rush..that dump as you call it?
And wonder why the cold weather is a trigger. I had no episodes at all over the spring or summer!!!
Many Times It's A Trigger Point In Your Dreams Even Though You May Not Be Able To Pin Point or/ Even Remember The Dream. I Get That When I Have Those Off The Wall Out There Dreams That You Wonder, Where Did That Come From ?* But ? It Could Be Something You Forgot As A Child Recorded In Your Memory or/ Even A Story Somebody Was Telling In A Distance You Were Not Even Paying Attention To. Your Mind Hears And Records & Stores Everything. I Think The Colder Weather Can Increase The Heart Rate & That In & Of Itself Can Trigger Our Worst Enemy Which Is Fear. So ? Here We Have Created Another Trigger. The Fear That The Cold Will Give Us An Anxiety Attack In Our Sleep. And The Real Trigger Of It Now Is The Fear Of It.
Here Ya Go:
Temperatures below 40 degrees hasten the loss of body heat. Shivering is a well-known response, but a less obvious reaction is heart rate increase. In cold weather, a faster heartbeat benefits muscular and respiratory function.
So, Just Think. We With Anxiety Disorders "Notice" The Heart Rate Increase & It Triggers A Fear Reaction Which Dumps Adrenalin. Which Can Make It Worse...
Ive been there too. I had insomnia for years. Now I take magnesium, drink sleepy time tea and try to limit stress after 8:30 pm. Im having a really anxious day today too, so you are not alone. Having to wake up early for work makes me even more anxious when Im not falling asleep or waking up with anxiety.
Ive talked to my therapist about it to learn coping skills as well.
Must be the Full Moon!
Im listening to ambient space music right now...hoping that will help. It is BEAUTIFUL.
Sounds like a good approach you have..the tea..and the magnesium..it really helps!!
... dreams we don’t remember can wake you up anxious .. then it causes a circle of .. to scared to go back to sleep .. I frequently wake up anxious, and can’t understand why .. then I realise how I feel when I wake up from a disturbing or worrying mixed up dream iv had, and how it leaves me feeling, anxious, low mood .. and unable to fall asleep ..
When this happens ... I get my lavender oil out and switch on an app with music calming .. audio books apps are good on the iPhone. 🍀
