I’ve got anxiety but also suffer from Gerd. When i’m exercising I feel like i’m about to become breathless but it doesn’t happen. It’s so hard to explain, it’s like I’m out of breath but i’m not at the same time. Does anyone else feel like this cos i’m super worried?

I have this! But when I'm exercising I'm fine and when i rest it gets worse which is weird. My throat feels tight and a bit like im choking. I wheeze a bit too sometimes and all of that makes me feel like I can't breathe but I can! I'm trying to tell myself its in my head or it's just GERD (although I haven't been diagnosed, doctor said I was fine) but it's so hard to ignore sometimes.
Me too! Right this minute. Mine has been coming and going for the last week. I feel almost like my tongue is too big for the back is my throat/choking feeling. Also like my neck muscles and tongue are strained. Ugh! I’m so over it. I was about to go the ER until I read this.
I have felt similar as well in the past and it caused me to have to stop excessive workouts I couldn't do the intense ones. Now I'm trying to find some more relaxed ones. I am not sure if its a mix of anxiety but I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia too. I do think I have some GERD possibly but I know after reading about the hiatal hernia that it was for sure what caused a lot of it. The issue is when the symptoms happen then I think our anxiety kicks in and makes it way worse. Hope you feel better soon! I changed my diet and had to stop doing my crazy work outs and it seemed to help a lot.
This is a weekly struggle for me and my anxiety doesn’t help it either . However, try taking Alocid and looking up other remedies to help ease the acid reflux. I can definitely relate !
I feel like im so out of breath just walking down the street it scares me i have acid reflux bad been trying to eat more better and excersize but when i cant even walk down a street what im suposto to do😢
Excatly mine says that too i have a bad back also because of a accident i was in i had to get surgery so now when i walk i cant even walk more then 10 mins it starts to get real painfull and i get out of breath. I hate this because i gained alot of weight and have high blood pressure so i really need lose weight .
Had GERD for 15+ years, B12 for 20, untreated apnea for 20 years
would be out of breath after exercise
past 6 weeks I feel "breathless" not exactly struggling but almost as if I don't breath unless I concentrate on it, and pain / uncomfort around ribs and shoulder blades
had a chest x-ray 7 months ago and bloods - no issues there
slight mitral valve regurgitation
first doctor said come back after I'd been on a CPAP for 2 months
