So people have told me that your anxiety can worsen if you intake too much sugar. Every morning I drink coffee and I put about 3 scoops of sugar in it 🙈 I hate the taste of black coffee. What can I do to substitute the sugar!?

Hello aspeers22. Wow this is rough. Unfortunately, your anxiety can increase with caffeine intake too. Natural forms of sugar are your best option. While there are the zero calorie alternatives, they’re still pretty bad for you. Stuff like organic honey, maple syrup, etc. are your best bet I think 😕.

Caffeine is a trigger for some people too. I’ve stopped drinking coffee and alcohol but hasn’t really helped anything lol but yes I find if I have too much sugar I’m more anxious. Just cut back the amount of coffee and sugar you’re putting in. So if you’re having instant coffee, do half a teaspoon of coffee and 2 small teaspoons of sugar. Steer clear of artificial sweeteners they are bad for your health, try a natural sweetener such as honey or stevia. stevia you only need like half a teaspoon.
