Diazapam

Been on diazapam 4 mg a day for 9 days gradually over last week down to 2 mg then to 1mg half for 2 days and quarter of a pill last 2 days is it time complete keep off tonight doctors. Wanted to give me more off the same benzoz sleeping pills trying to come off all that lot any suggestions

Go easy Eabxj28 It makes no difference how long it takes, the goal

will be the same. I did small cuts every 2 weeks. Symptoms will be there

You have done well and are not addicted as you have only been on for 9 days. Don't let doctors convince you to take more if you don't want to. There are other less addictive tablets that could help. I've been on a higher dose of benzos for much longer but recently have decided to reduce with a view to coming off. I'm reducing by 2mg every fortnight with help of my GP but this is flexible. I've got down to 8mg daily now but have hit low mood. I suppose this is to be expected but am hoping this will settle over coming days. Am happy to keep in touch if you want? By the way there is a good online support forum for people on any kind of benzo called benzobuddies. It's worth signing up to if you feel you may have an ongoing issue :-

I been put on lorazepam now 1mg 3 times a day I need something to sleep because noise in head a zopledem don't work and gotj the shakes once on diazapam or coming of and anxiety got worse
