It has been since past year,i can not live a day off without taking clonazepam.I try hard not to but at last after a long struggling,i end with popping the pill.Although my doc told me to take it in case of emergency, but i can't help myself. Now my health has been deteriorating, feels brain pressure after a little exertion, seems like i am having brain aneurysm.Someone please help me out with it,i am always in fear of stroke, heart attack and brain aneurysm and everyday seems to me is my last day.

Like you stated it's probably a tolerance. Your body is craving more. You need to see your dr and start a slow process of coming off the med.

That's my opinion. I'm not a dr.

Our bodies can build a tolerance to benzos fairly quickly so what you are feeling sounds like that. Would you consider an SSRI like Zoloft or lexapro ? Those work well for anxiety but can take up to 6 weeks to feel the effect although I have had patients tell me they felt effects of lexapro within 5 days. During the start of another med, perhaps your dr could begin weaning you off the clonazepam very slowly? Good luck
