Anybody have dreams about their anxiety that make their anxiety worse?

I always have dreams where I'm trying to do something, last night it was a school field trip even though I'm not in school anymore, but my anxiety and derealization are really really really bad and I have all these other bad feelings and I'm terrified. I wake up feeling scared and terrible. I can't even escape it in my dreams.

I have the same problem. Most times when I wake up from these dreams I have to take my meds “xanax” just to get my heart rate down and go back to sleep. Absolutely hate nights like that. They come and go. The good news is I’m still alive. I’ve dealt with it for years.

I have these issues all the time. I have these really intense dreams and wake up with very bad anxiety sometimes keeping me up for the rest of the night. Other times right back to sleep. I found on the nights I cant go back to sleep I read or write and try to keep mind off it and other times I take trazodone and go back to sleep. Ever need to talk hit me up usually up crazy hours. Talking seems to help also
