Is it normal ( in an anxious mood ) to feel throbbing or pulsating sensation on top of forehead when you get your blood pressure taken? I tried asking but I got laughed at, at the clinic and am embarrassed but I have a right to ask. I’m still glad I did. Now, that I’m calm I don’t feel it now. The only reason I felt it is because while he was taking my blood pressure , he wanted to take my temperature, too, that’s when I felt everything , became super sensitive ..and then yeah the throbbing (not aching) in my forehead.
Well, I should ask have any of you had similar sensations? My BP was 136/81 I believe .

I was anxious, at first because they told me I could go, gave me Tylenol for my arm, & I could eat but then i got panicky because I hate those bp machines . So, while taking it, nurse took my temperature. As I opened up my mouth, felt how nervous I was in my chest area then that feeling rose up to my lower neck , in between my clavicle area , where I felt a pulsating sensation (didn’t hurt) , then felt that same sensation on top of my forehead . It was similar to a rush ... After it was done , it went away.
That sensation in my forehead , it startled me but yeah , with me asking is it normal, while anxious to feel sensations like that, well, no empathy ...and I got shrugged off and laughed at. I’m grateful none of these ppl are my primary . It’s a express clinic near my job.
I teared up on my way back here because geez ok it’s not harmful really , feeling that, but I’m still curious as it’s my body, you know? And, add on that I have anxiety and I’m looked at weird by some nurses ..not all , thankfully.
