I put this question here because I know those with health anxiety probably deal with this in their own way. I know that I should’ve took things easy in my workout but I was so excited to get going with my workouts again. I know that soreness occurs , also maybe bruising if you do the most in the workouts and I of course have both and I’m trying not to be frantic over this.
How do we remind ourselves it’s only soreness from post workouts? My bruise on my bicep :/ I watch it like a hawk , I put my arm on something as if i truly bumped in , resting it. Now I’m not gonna go back to lifting things like I usually do yet but I know that I didn’t injure this arm like that. There’s no tingling , it doesn’t get sore all day and night it’s only when I move it & my bruise is green and pretty much flat but I keep thinking it’s a bump. I’m on a rest day today but yeah , how do you guys keep peace of mind when having post-workout soreness or if you happen to get a bruise while working out?
