Lauriem4, this is quite a common symptom in being over stressed. Today was a
bad day for me, stress wise. While in the throws of stress, I knew I would be paying
for it later. Well later came sooner than I thought and my ears felt blocked, felt
unsteady and shaky.
I no longer fear the symptoms but use it as a time to listen to my body. "Chill Agora :)"
I realized I was dehydrated so had some water, sat down, brought my shoulders down
from my ears, started deep breathing. Within moments I could feel my ears unblock and
my head clear. Had something to eat and feel all together once more.
What happens when we are anxious is that our muscles get so tight in our jaw, ear canals,
face, neck, shoulders and even hands from gripping them. By hydrating, water helps the
muscles to function properly. Have you ever tried to open or close your fist and it seemed
to get stuck?? Dehydration... Deep breathing helps relax the muscles as well as oxygenate them. If you accept it as anxiety/stress and not something life threatening , it will calm down more
quickly. It's all a part of the learning process when dealing with anxiety. xx
Sorry you are going through that !
2 years ago , I had 4 months of feeling off balance and dizziness while I was going through some very emotional months .
After several tests , doctors couldn’t figure out what was happening to me ! I know it was anxiety .
You are not alone !
Yes, for 30 years, with tinnitus, weird vision disturbances, etc. Sometimes it's worse than others. I know brain fog can be a symptom of Lyme disease, menopause, etc. I have found some relief through upper cervical chiropractic treatment, specifically the Blair Technique. Hope you get some relief! Hang in there and just try to keep moving forward with you life. Much love and caring!!
