Does anyone else’s anxiety affect their eating?

Hi guys over the past few months due to a choking incident I have had trouble swallowing and this led me to not eat as much as usual. Thankfully since I started sleeping better and my stress/anxiety began to dissipate this began to clear up. however I still have discomfort or reservations when it comes to eating large meals/ meat (meat in particular) I worry about food poisoning choking how can I stop this and has anyone else dealt with this? Or am I dealing with something else I’ve been to numerous GP’s who all said my throat is fine and I believe them do why am I still scared months on
