Also my psychiatrist doesnt want to put me on an antipsychotic, but instead wants to switch me from xanax to valium because he feels like the xanax has stopped working for me. Now I'm worried about that! I've heard nothing but horror stories about coming off of xanax. And what if the valium doesn't even work? Why can't they just come up with an anxiety medication that cures you instantly with no side-effects or withdrawals?? Lol. Hasn't science come far enough??

You should be okay with the transfer to Valium. When I came off my benzos, my doctor

use the Dr. Heather Ashton Method of Weaning off Benzos. Getting off Xanax and then

Ativan was done in using Valium because it stays in the body longer and provided that

buffer I needed when weaning off the Ativan. It's still a benzo but with longer effects. xx

Thank you!!! I wish my psychiatrist would say things like this to me. I even asked but he's always so vague!

I know that Xanax always made me feel like I was gonna have a panic attack, but Valium worked WONDERFULLY for me. Vitamin B gives you more energy, so I’m not surprised it’s raising your anxiety. Are you taking B complex or an individual one, like B2 or B6? B6, niacin, sometimes causes flushing.

It's like "super b-complex". I started taking it because i heard it helps some people with dpdr. And it certainly does but my mind races for about 6 hours after taking it so idk if its worth it lol. Thank you :) hopefully the valium will help me

The B-complex made me really nauseous and anxious, so I’m not surprised haha. Keep experimenting, you’re gonna make it through!

what type of B12 are you using. It may be worth trying a different type of B12.

Methyl-B12 can increase anxiety in some patients - not clear why but it may be to do with the COMT process and for some methyl may make this process run faster than it should.
