I feel like my anxiety is at its peak in the morning as soon as I wake up. Does anyone else feel this way?? If so what do you do to cope?

I feel this way and there’s actually a medical reason. When you’re too stressed your cortisol (stress hormone) levels are elevated and they peak in the morning.
The best way to help is to try to get enough sleep and exercise.
Yes definitely find my anxiety is worse in the morning. I’ve been getting up and going for a walk, think the endorphins set in after and I feel a bit better. Having a plan for the day also helps x
My anxiety is also worse in the morning. I agree it has to do with increased cortisol being released in the morning. I am a teacher so when I am working I just get ready for work and go about my morning and try not to think about it because I am so busy. In the summer. I definitely take time to relax and not rush but it doesn't really lessen the anxiety. But at least I can sit or take a break when I am not feeling well. Anxiety is a tough thing to deal with and empathize with you.
