So today at 5:00 am I woke up with a migraine, I took 2 ibuprofen and slept but I still have the pain 5 hours later, I’ve just taken 2 more ibuprofen the pain is now bareable but still there. I’ve never seen the doctor in regards to migraine but I seem to get them towards the end or a few days after my period finishes. I feel so tired and it’s making me anxious, my heart rate is also a little high. I just want the pain to go away along with the nausea and stomachache. I want to cry, I guess I am just emotional today. Thanks for reading!

I had these for 20 years. Stay hydrated it helps. Get rest.

If they are becoming debilitating talk to your md. There are many meds they could try

Thanks for your reply,I am still experiencing head pain in waves although not as bad as this morning. I am still tired and a bit nauseous. I think I will see a doctor soon.

I found they can last up to three days.

I feel bad for you because I know how awful it is.

I hope it goes away soon.

I had migraines that lasted 2-3 days at times. Advil was my go to as well but I don't take more than 3 a day. When I dropped sugar or processed foods, I noticed I don't have them anymore. If I do (once for the past 6 months), I just use an ice pack, no need for Advil.

That’s great to hear, I really need to work on my diet.

You can definitely do it. Keep a food log, it helps a lot.

I would take excedrine migraine... I would pop them like candy cause I would ALWAYS have a migraine... after I changed a lot of what I would eat like pop and red meat my migraines have decreased in severity and duration... longer periods in between... now I get tension headaches cause I’m always so tense... I’m in college mom of 4 kids trying to fit in studying and I have horrible posture... I feel like I just can’t win sometimes

Yeah I feel like stress and hormones bring on mine, also when I am at my desk I feel my shoulders and head are so tense and my posture is terrible too. I have started to practice meditating so we will see how that goes.
