I feel empty

I already know I have depression but the thing is why bother taking all these drugs I mean idek why do we live. Scientifically to survive and reproduce...okay I survived then what? People say live your life to the fullest but why? What’s my end goal to die? Sure only live once make it good but how can you live everyday knowing it will just all go away? I’m born I’m supposed to follow rules learn get a job get a married have kids raise them and then leave in the middle of everything. I will never live for when scientists reach another galaxy if they even do I will never know. I’ll never know if my grandkids have kids or if my family name dies off, I’ll never know if someday America can get rid of the bs and accept everyone. I won’t live to see same sex kids most likely there are so many things I will miss so what’s the honest point of me being her right now??

Sometimes I feel that way. But, I do want to be with my family and watch my adult children continue in their path.

You seem to be asking for help. I am a grandmother of 4, 76 years old, MS diagnosed 5 years ago, but had it much longer. Without my faith in God as the creator of the earth and everything in and on it, I would feel the same as you. My faith includes believing that God sent His Son, Jesus, to this earth to make a path to Him. The Bible says "There is one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) When you sincerely ask Him to come into your life and change you, by forgiving you of all your sins, He will make you into a new person. Read the Bible beginning in the New Testament book of John, then the rest of the New Testament, and your life will change for the better. (There are many contemporary editions of the Bible, which are very easy to read and understand.) Faith in God brings a new hope, and His reasons for living this life. We are to live to bring glory to Him and help bring others to Him. You may choose not to believe in Him, but, think about it. If I'm right, and you are wrong, the alternative to believing in Him is very, very bad when this life is over. I will be praying for you.
