Stabbing pains

Got stinging stabbing pains in my left side of chest, back and shoulder tonight. I know I’m fine and gonna be okay just stressing already about sleeping tonight knowing I’m gonna have a rubbish nights sleep. Does anyone have any ways to help sleep besides meditation, breathing exercises and reading.

Cookej05, sometimes a hot shower or bath before going to bed can

help relax your body. Once you are in bed, I still feel deep breathing

and listening to meditation or music can soothe your over sensitized

nervous system. xx

I feel like the more I relax and let my body calm down the more I get this floaty feeling which makes my chest feel fluttery and strange, the feelings I get in my body are so hard to describe and I just can’t seem to make it go away no matter what I try. I think I may try a hot shower, Thankyou so much x

Cookej don't be afraid of that calm feeling that comes over us. Embrace the

relaxed feeling. xx

Hi,

warm bath ( like others said), warm milk before bed. I also take valerian tablets( natural remedy 1-2 tab before sleep).

And yes- do not be afraid of the floaty feeling - it is how your body drifts to sleep.

It is weird feeling but just let it go....I sometimes count to 100 or pray....It helps.

I tried a hot shower last night which seemed to really help, had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a while so feeling positive about that! Thankyou x
