Hi everyone! I went to the doctor today to discuss my anti depressants. I have been taking 50mg of Zoloft (sertraline) for a while now and it has affected my libido. I’ve only ever been on Zoloft so he said it was worth a shot changing to lexapro (escitalopram) to see if the side affect isn’t as intense. He did mention that if you experience this on one SSRI you are more likely to experience it on another but that that wasn’t 100% certain. Has anyone had a positive experience changing from Zoloft to lexapro?

Also, I’m concerned about weight gain. I didn’t gain weight on Zoloft, does that mean it is unlikely that I will gain weight on lexapro? The dosage they have given is 10mg by the way
