I thought I’d posted but it didn’t go on so trying again. Having problems with my sleep, if I don’t take a sleeping pill I can’t sleep, was awake until 4am this morning fell asleep woke up at 6.30 😔 beginning to get to me as I never had a sleep problem before. Also Makes me feel weaker, and more lonely at night as there’s no one I can talk to in middle of the night. Does anyone else have same problems please?

It sometimes happens to me, when it does I go downstairs and have a glass of milk and a biscuit, it usually helps me sleep when I go back to bed.

I was there as well. I still keep the pills as a safety net, but I found it’s usually one thing I can’t get out of my mind that keeps me from sleeping. If it’s something you can control then I work my hardest to resolve.

If it’s out of my control, then I have to let it go.

I know you don’t drink caffeine 🙂, so that’s good. I learned my lesson well on that one

Yes I stopped caffeine several years ago, the only thing that’s stopping me is me getting uptight about not sleeping but I can’t seem to switch off

What’s also helped for the time being is wearing myself out. I know it’s the hardest thing to do when you’re sleep deprived.

I know the ocean wave music does me good too.

Rough nights I’ve grabbed NyQuil, lol. But that can’t be good.

I’ve read where the ice pack on the eyes helps but haven’t tried

Yes I feel like I want to wear myself out completely too. But unless I actually go out it’s not happening. Going out would be a distraction and I’ve always preferred to be out instead of in

I start a new job Monday so I know I am going to be overwhelmed and will probably begin the sleeping problems again.

Guess a good way of looking at it- is oh well if I can’t do the job, guess look for another one. All we can do is our best

I have this issue quite often myself. I finally invested in a weighted blanket, which seems to help quite a bit.

Believe trazadone is non habit forming and you don’t build up a tolerance?

That’s what I have and works pretty good

I am having the same sleep issues. I have a worry on my mind I think is causing it. I can’t change it, so I just have to deal with it. I fall asleep fine, but wake up around 2 and can’t lull myself back to sleep. I am on anxiety and depression meds.

Its not nice is it. Weird thing is if i dont sleep i feel low and weak but if i take a mild sleeping pill which doesnt actually knock me out completely,

after a nights sleep i sometimes wake up with the shakes in my arms, and aometimes after I’ll have the racing heart feeling. Had to go to

The corner shop earlier and almost turned back agaib because of it, but i didnt as i needed a couple of things. Cant win sometimes 😐☹️
