Hello
Sorry you feel you have the weight of the world on your shoulders which is creating your anxiety to feel worse than ever and we can feel lonely because we feel no one understands or ever feels like this but they do so be reassured you are not alone
Sometimes when I feel I have that many problems I will explode trying to deal with them all , I take each one and ask myself how important is it , what would be the worse thing that could happen , do I have to be involved etc , then I decide which needs dealing with first and I take one at a time rather than trying to take them all on at once
I have just had to give up smoking after been a smoker for years because of health problems , I wished years ago I never started as it is now causing me issues so I would say don't start smoking it won't help it might later down the line cause more anxiety , if you used to take anxiety meds and they helped and you have run out then seeing your Doctor and taking those will help you a lot more than smoking
Hope since writing your post you are feeling a little better
I know it is really hard when you feel that way, but I am with Lulu smoking will not help. I almost died because of smoking, I thought it was helping with my anxiety; but it only made things worse. Today, I use an relaxation app from the VA- it is called the VA mindfulness coach: "mobile.va.gov/app/mindfulne... . There are two good things about it. One is it does not have any religious dogma and you don't have to be a veteran or at least the Google store didn't ask. I also do yoga and ti'chi (do a YouTube search for beginners) Today, a year later, I am healthier and finally starting to ditch some of my medications. I know how far I have come and how much further I have to go. I know that on this journey, I have become discouraged. I journal to keep myself focused and to remind myself of progress.
