Scared....
Unless you are having legitimately crazy thoughts, you are not losing your mind. I have some of the same symptoms as you and they have been flaring up this week. Racing mind, difficulty focusing my eyes, tension headaches. Taking anything?
I get this often. I call it “foggy head” and I have found it’s worse when I am going through period of anxiety. I also get anxiety headaches in those exact locations as you describe. I have seen therapists and doctors and they have told me I am not going crazy! These are all effects of anxiety - it’s crazy how powerful anxiety can be.
Things my doctors have suggested - doing yoga and meditation. Also regular exercise.
I also think that taking a bath with lavender essential oil helps me a ton. Also making time each day for a “self care” type thing so I can unwind better.
My doctor also prescribed me alprazolam which really helps when I feel extremely foggy and when my thoughts race.
Just know you aren’t going crazy. I’m here if you ever want to talk.
I just replied to Shannon about this same thing. My most prevalent symptom has been extreme fogginess, dizziness and pressure inside my head. I have been through this 4 times now, and have been treated with either prednisone, or once also with IV Solumedrol. This is what gives me the most trouble, along with weak, shaky legs. It is not anxiety! It is real, and it's MS! It is "all in your head," but then, that's where the MS is! Get in touch with your Neuro and get help!
