I remind myself a beautiful phrase that I came up with “ I am love, I am kind, I am safe and I shall overcome this. It always helps me calm down.

It's great you use positive self talk. Positive self talk is very powerful. I love what you say to yourself!" I say,"I'm a calm person. I'm a strong person. I can overcome anything. I can overcome this. " I repeat it over and over until I believe it and relax.

Lvee, we each have more power within ourselves than we think we do.

So much energy is wasted on useless thoughts and beliefs. It's only when

we find within ourselves the strength we had all this time, is when we do

succeed.

Yes...You are loved, you are kind, you are safe and you will overcome this.

Peace & Calm be with you today and always. Tucked away within your heart xx

i feel foggy headed, can't concentrate, think or remember .Does this happen to any one of you? I have been diagnosed with GAD,but i don't have any worry ,still i get these symptoms. Also racing thoughts which distracte from doing task at hand and focusing.

anxiety Centre are a concept where there is a lot of info but the last bit of info is always missing. They lure you into signing up and pay. Those who are vulnerable are targeted. You can read but just Don t pay them. There is some info about them online

I paid to be a member on Anxiety Center. For myself I’d say it’s worth it for a few months but not longer. They have a ton of helpful information. They explain how anxiety starts, how symptoms develop and what causes them and methods you can use to overcome your anxiety. I will say their forums are pretty quiet so don’t expect peer support from them. Two things to know about Anxiety Center. First they are quite religious and while for the most part they keep the religious aspects in a separate section. Second they are anti-medication. They believe in therapy, self-education and support. So it may not be for everyone. I’m not religious so I skipped that section but if you want to know a lot about anxiety and how to deal with it it might be worth a look. This is just my personal opinion.

So at home in my bedroom, I have a chalkboard on the wall.

One side has a list of things to do if you don’t feel right and don’t know why.

These include: Wash, Eat, Sleep, Exercise, Breathe.

This list helps me to maintain basic self-care, and even if I don’t feel up to doing any of it, it can provide me a rational reason as to why I might be feeling off.

On the other side of the board are things that help me during an anxiety attack or period of suffering: Outdoors, Music, Silence, The Ground, Dark, Yoga, Water. If I’m not coping I can look at this list until something feels possible, then do that thing. If none it feels like it will help, I revert back to my other list.

Maybe I’m obsessive and weird but this really helps me.
