Does anyone suffer from weird vision.? It feels like my eyes are so tired because of this, its hard to focus when im out and about in big places, sometimes peoples faces and so objects look like theyre moving (heatwave like) and blurred out. I stuggle to focus.
Ive seen and optician and doctor and had an MRI SCAN. All normal but i cant accept this as anxiety.

I often get a weird feeling in my eyes. Sometimes it feels like heaviness/pressure and tiredness but it can also make my vision blurred. It’s often worse in the morning and I do sometimes think genuine tiredness is the cause. I know thinking about it makes it worse (I am suddenly very aware of my own eyes now I am talking to you) - that’s not to say you are completely ‘imagining’ it but your anxiety could be exacerbating the symptoms... a little bit like if you think something is crawling on you and all of a sudden you feel itchy. I know having dry eyes can sometimes cause these sorts of symptoms too.
Try to take comfort in the fact that the optician hasn’t found a problem (and they check far more than just your sight - they’d have picked up on anything unusual) and the clear MRI is also a really good sign. You are, of course, perfectly entitled to a second opinion and could go to another optician if you wanted to.
It’s also possible the problem isn’t with your eyes at all- sometimes if I panic my heart rate shoots up, I feel lightheaded and my eyes can feel funny then - almost like things are happening around me that I am not a part of. It’s too easy to dismiss things as anxiety sometimes but equally it is possible to think something can’t possibly be anxiety without stopping to think about how anxiety could be causing it.
Have you ever had any kind of treatment or support for anxiety?
I have the same issues, and have had all the tests except the MRI, and my ent Dr basicly said it would be a just yo cover the bases sort of test.. ct scan and others were all good...
Check out pppd disorder
What your describingis very common with anxiety... it can be really bad in stores or restaurants...
I had a hard time accepting that anxiety was the cause of a lot of my symptoms. I remember one time very vividly where I had to watch my feet while i walked so i wouldn't miss the steps. The dizziness really took over when I was in large, open stores or malls. I would have to balance on shopping carts in order to go shopping. If you notice there are places that cause the dizziness to be consistently worse it is probably just anxiety. The uncertainty is another thing that can cause anxiety to beget anxiety. Try to find peace with medication or counseling. I am currently doing both and seem to be feeling better.
