Upped Xanax from .25 to .75

My psychiatrist just upped my Xanax dose from .25 to .75... I didn’t experience any side effects when starting, but I’m scared to make the jump.... will I get a bad side effect? It’s fiving me a panic attack thinking about it...

I have only taken Xanax in the .25mg dose. You can usually break the pills in half. I would certainly discuss this with your doctor.

lucky that your doc will still prescribe xanax. In my town, they refuse to give out this drug or any like it, anymore.

What do you think could happen to you, if you up your med?.

I was switched to Clonopin. It does the same thing as Xanax, but takes longer to become affective and

lasts longer. I have never heard of a town cutting off medications. Sounds like a lawsuit to me. Some people really do need these things. Good luck and God bless...

Try upping it to 50 for a week. Then again.to 75 . This will lessen any side effects if any .

Step it up slowly or you can just stay where you are and share :D
