Ribs hurt when touched

I suffer from chest pain and back pain on and off and my ribs hurt to touch. Has anyone had this

Yes. If you go to the doctors they'll tell you it's costochondritis. Which is the inflammation of your rib cage. Not life threatening. But for what ever strange reason this is a symptom of anxiety. It absolutely doesn't make sense the connection between anxiety and these physical symptoms and why anxiety causes them.

I haven't found any solid answers online beside just due to high levels of stress.
