Lump in neck

I noticed a bean shaped lump under the skin on the left side of my neck an it’s really stressing me out ! I’ve convinced myself I’ve got cancer . I went to the doctor an he said he doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about but he can book me in for a scan in around a month or 2. Has anyone else ever had this?

Could it be your nodes? If the doctor is not worried try and trust in that, hope all goes well

Yeah that’s what the doctor said. But I haven’t had a cold or anything so I’m worried why it would be there ! Thanks x

Sounds like lymph nodes! I wouldn’t be too worried if your blood work is good. I’ve got 4 of them ..2 beans in my neck and 2 in my pelvis region ..had it since I was 14 I’m 26 now..doc cant explain exact cause but some things don’t need explanations ..people live with abnormalities all the time!

I have two beans in my neck and another in my groin. I’ve had them all checked out and all are good. I have read and been told that none of our nodes are exactly the same size.

Thanks that makes me feel a lot better. I only happened to notice it as I was rubbing my neck the other day an thought what’s that
