I used to get them all day everyday! Mine felt like needle pokes. I also had twitches in the heart area that worried me, but it was nothing. Very common for anxiety sufferers. Remind yourself it’s normal when you feel them and breath!

Everyday for 30 years, it comes and goes throughout the day and night. That’s what started my anxiety 30 years ago. Now I have health anxiety from it.

I sometimes get discomfort in that area or in the pecs. Anxiety loves to make me feel like I having a heart problem. I had it checked out a few years ago and my heart is fine. Sometimes it feels like a little static shock sensation and it scares me. Anxiety, in my opinion, wants to be acknowledged and sometimes creates these new body sensations to let us know they are there. I would recommend you ACCEPT it (make sure you are ok medically of course!) and say its my anxiety and it will pass. I sometimes use a massager on the area or get a massage. It helps to relax my tense muscles.

Yes, I've had that before. it's just anxiety.

Oh. My. God. I have the exact same thing, and I mean LITERALLY the exact same thing! And I mean under the left breast! I was worrying about it too, but I think it’s just an anxiety thing, or just something human bodies do sometimes. Like some people have a hole in their heart, but it doesn’t do anything. It’s not dangerous, harmful or bothersome.

I don't want this to sound like I'm glad you have it, but I'm so relieved someone else has identified with it, cos it's doing my head in, I keep telling myself it's just anxiety and thats fine till it starts again, then all rational thoughts go out the window

Yes I have that sometimes. In fact thinking about it while writing this just caused a twinge of it! Besides anxiety, I've read that sharp pains in the heart area are more likely caused by a temporary rib/muscle issue. And it makes sense...if it were angina then why on earth would it be sharp pain? Last time I experienced it I remembered that the day before I had been holding a flat screen tv rather awkwardly for a long time while we were fastening the connections to the wall to mount it. Sure enough it went away completely after a couple days but came back when I had a stressful thought about something else...and again just now as I'm writing this!

I get this pain under my left boob. I feel like it’s always there. I always get lain in my back on the same side where the lain in my rib is. It’s so crappy... makes me feel like something else is wrong with me.
