Trying to let go of my meds

Hello everyone! So I been on Zoloft for a little over 2 years. It has helped a lot! I’m not 100% better but I’m hanging in there. What sucks is that my dizziness never went away!! About 1 month ago I started down grading my meds I was at 125mg and slowly went down until I got to 50mg and I started feeling bad again depressed anxious all that crap!! So I up graded again I’m back on 100mg but I have still been feeling kinda crappy. More dizzy than usual and my anxiety too. Has any one else had a problem with down grading with Zoloft? I just don’t know if it was a good idea for me to down grade but I been feeling bad!! A lot of headaches too.. ☹️

Hi there, I am tapering of Seroxat. It is soooooooo hard. Go to Surviving very helpful

I recently tapered off of zoloft after being on 200mg for over 20 years. I reduced it by 50mg per week and I also took some natural supplements to make my withdrawal go easier. It wasn't difficult until the last 50mg and started feeling fatigued and having brain zapping. I would strongly recommend working with your therapist to taper off and also preparing yourself to expect the worst and to be ok with it. Be gentle and loving to yourself, your body and brain is going through changes and it's only natural that it is going to be unsettling.

I hate that zapping feeling!! Are you off it now? Did that zapping feeling go away?

it hasn't completely gone away but it has decreased a lot and for longer periods of time.
